Cables and adaptors

To use the MacTalk software the correct cables are necessary.
If your JVL motor supports Ethernet, a cable with an M12 4-pin connector and RJ45 can be used.

MAC motors use an RS232 adaptor and cable with an M12 connector.

MIS motors use an RS485 adaptor and cable with an M12 connector.
It is highly recommended to have the correct serial cables and adaptor as backup even if your motor has ethernet.
